Our range also includes a variety of colourful coverings from different manufacturers.
The official rule of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) states that a table tennis rubber must consist of two different colours so that the racket can be clearly identified in a game. One of the sides of the rubber can be any colour ( red , blue , green , pink , purple etc.), but the other side of the rubber must be black . This rule is for clarity and fairness, as it means the player can always clearly see which side of the racket is being used, which is particularly important when there are differences in the playing behaviour of the rubbers (e.g. spin).
So there is no restriction on the color of one side of the covering, as long as the other side is black.
